Ghost Hunters’ (TAPS) New Season Premiere Tonight!

Published by kspace at 11:47 pm under Ghost Hunters Edit This

grave.jpgThe TAPS team heads to Pennsylvania for their season opener of Ghost Hunters!  The team will be investigating the Betsy Ross House, an American Historic site known for some unexplained spooky occurrences.  But the Betsy Ross House isn’t the best part of the season premiere.  If you followed last season of Ghost Hunters, you may recall a lot of…we’ll say controversial events.  It was a skeptic’s Hay Day.

Will they start the new season with some hard-learned lessons about all of that controversy?  Or will it be back to the business of trickery?  For the otherwise unaware (or naive) last season’s live Halloween episode was thick with suspicion over whether or not a collar-tug was faked by Grant Wilson.  The controversy was known among skeptics as “Collar-gate.”  You’ll find some background on it here:

Of course we saw the TAPS faction slightly disconcerted over the “gate” and they possibly had some permanent fan-loss over it.  I know I was insulted.  I am a skeptic, but I do give props when they are due to an honest team trying their best to debunk…not create evidence for ratings.

I really miss the days when Ghost Hunters just investigated people’s homes.  They seemed more authentic, more eager to debunk and less nonchalant about it all. *Sigh*

Wow, I can see the wire/line when it’s slowed down like that. Very interesting.
